Irvine, Calif., September 28, 2010 - Project Insight, web-based project management software, today announced the release of Custom Form Labels in version 9.0. Custom Form Labels allow project teams even more flexibility to set up software forms that provide a perfect fit with their unique business processes.
Custom Form Labels refer to the data labels in the Project Insight interface that team members see in every area of the software including reports, task lists and Gantt charts. Project Insight system administrators now have the capability to add custom fields, remove existing fields, or even change the language of the labels. Administrators may create multiple Custom Form Label sets to simplify forms for team members, while allowing experienced project managers to manage to a more detailed level.
The default labels in Project Insight can be translated into any language or simply changed to an internal term that better fits the organization’s business process without any programming. For example, a team member in Spain can view task update forms in Spanish, while a resource in France can manage tasks and projects in French, making it easy for global and multilingual teams to communicate.
The use of the Custom Form Labels can be used as minimally or as extensively as needed. For example, a security software customer changed the label ‘work hours’ to ‘budgeted hours’ in Project Insight because the team was more comfortable with their term. Other teams have created simplified team member forms, displaying only what they need to track.
