Challenges
Holy Spirit Health System is headquartered in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania and includes more than 40 additional locations in Pennsylvania. One IT Project Office provides support to all locations. Prior to Project Insight, the IT Project Office relied on updating Excel spreadsheets and a database. However, the database was not web based and information was not available in real-time. Time Warner Cable has experienced a major outage which has impacted Internet traffic worldwide.

Time Warner Cable is not the supplier for Project Insight connectivity and may not be your Internet supplier either, however, they are a major backbone provider. Any connectivity attempting to route through their services may experience a disruption to Project Insight access. We are monitoring the status for further problems. Currently, it appears to be intermittent and of no consequence to Project Insight data integrity.

This feature was part of the Project Insight's latest release version 9.2. It can be tedious and time consuming to enter long lists of team members one at time. To shorten the time it takes to get new project team members in Project Insight, now you may import a list of users from Excel. When exporting an Excel template from Project Insight, there is a 'default user import' option. According to an interview with Swimming World, West's record was previously held by Wally Dicks, who was 37 when he qualified for and swam at Trials in 2000 in the 100 ***. West, an all-American at the University of Michigan, has swum at Trials before, previously competing in 1992, 1996 and 2000, placing third in the 200 meter breaststroke in 1996. West currently swims for the Irvine Novaquatics Masters Team and previously swam with Coach Dr. Dave Salo on the Irvine Novaquatics National team through the 2000 Olympic Trials.

West co-founded Metafuse, Inc. in 1996, the year that he was training for the 1996 Olympics. He had just graduated from the University of Michigan, where he had been a member of the NCAA championship swim team. Rather than start a full-time position that would prohibit him from committing to the number of hours of pool time he needed to train for the 2000 Olympic Trials, he decided to co-found a web and custom software development firm based in Irvine.

In 1998, West led a team which created an online collaboration product which was the predecessor to Project Insight, for posting documents, files and comments. In 2002, the development team adding project scheduling and other project and resource management features and re-branded the product as launched Project Insight.

After several years of hard work and dedication, and without any outside venture capital, the company has grown to serve hundreds of customers and thousands of project teams.
