Project Insight has hundreds of permutations of reports. Any project team member can select from over 50 reports in the My Reports menu. All reports have dozens of data fields to select from as well. A team member can open the 'push pins' and select the specific data s/he would like to add to the report.
Once an ideal report has been selected, the team member can save that report for subsequent use. The saved report will appear on the team member's My Reports page and is available to be run at any point in time. The process is simple!
All reports are permissions based, meaning that team members will only be able to report on projects they have permissions to. Furthermore, team members can only use filters that they have corresponding permission to view. For example, only project managers and above can view budget information on project reports.
All reports are printable from the browser, or you may export any information in a column view to Microsoft Excel for further printing options. Reports can be further customized by Metafuse's Professional Services department, if necessary. The reporting tool is flexible yet powerful.

Project Insight offers hundreds of pre-selected reports. However, team members may create their own custom reports, generating hundreds of variations of reports. A team member can open the 'pushpin' and choose which data fields s/he would like to report on. Once the fields are selected and check boxes marked, a report can be run.
Team members can then save this view or report so it can be run at any point in time. The saved report is also available from the My Reports list.
Executives may set this report or any other page in the system as My Homepage, so that they can login and go directly to the information that concerns them the most.
Project performance and health can be viewed in real-time through a project summary page. Variances between planned value and earned value are calculated so project managers can see a summary of project health at any point in time.
Project Insight also has both automatic status indicators and manual status indicators that display project performance. Automatic indicators appear when a project is overdue, or over budget, or exceeding estimated project cost and the like.
Manual status indicators, or 'traffic lights,' are available for project managers to tell executives and other team members the ranking of importance of the project.
