2017 - Project Insight's Year in Review

Project Insight's 2017

2017 has been an exciting year of growth for Project InsightĀ® and we couldn't have done it without you! šŸŽ‰

2017 marks Project Insight's 15 year anniversary! We've come a long way from dial-up and using post-it notes as project reminders. As automation becomes more and more ingrained in everyday business processes, Project Insight has continually been at the forefront, helping teams Work Better Togetherā„¢! Of course, our success is much attributed to our loyal users who keep us inspired and wanting to do better everyday. So here's what we've been up to this year.

Highlights

1. VSTS & Jira Integrations Added to our Software
In February, Project Insight announced two new integrations to our software! The first was with Microsoft's Team Foundation Server (VSTS - Visual Studio Team System), most commonly used by software development teams. We also were pleased to announce our integration with Jira, the software development tool used by agile teams.

2. Patent-pending for VirtualPMā„¢
Project Insight is the first project management company to build a patent-pending "project concierge" - known as a VirtualPMā„¢ - to facilitate interactions between project managers and resources. Leveraging popular teaming solutions, such as Slack, PI injects intelligent characters into teaming solutions to help project managers track, praise, record, and do a lot of the busy-work project managers do on a daily basis. This leaves more time for analysis and insight-generation for stakeholders so that projects remain on-time and on-budget. Read the full article here

3. Two New Platforms!
CEO and co-founder Steve West brought his vision of providing project management solutions for teams of all sizes and budgets by introducing two new platforms this year - PI#teamā„¢ and PI#smallbizā„¢ in addition to our PI#enterpriseā„¢ edition.

7. Featured in Inc. Magazine
Gimme an "I!" Gimme an "N!" Gimme a "C!" What does that spell? In all seriousness, we were honored to be featured in Inc. Magazine's Winter 2017-2018 issue. The article titled, "Project Management: Not Just for the Big Guys Anymore," discusses how smaller companies are thriving due in part to affordable project management solutions. Keep your eye out for the online edition of the article coming later this month. Read the official press release here.
