Top 3 Project Management Software Fears (3/3)

#3 No One Will Jump on Board

  • This is also a very real and common issue! You need support, lots of it. Support is important to move forward not only when making the purchasing decision, but throughout the entire implementation process. You can’t expect your team to trust and adopt change if your leadership team is not even on board.
  • If you don’t have support to start with, it’s time to change that. There’s nothing worse than getting to the end just to get shut down.
  • Strength in numbers. I mean that physically and in your ROI presentation. There’s a reason you’re searching right now so make sure you emphasize the ‘WHY you need it’ to others. Get them on board! Put together relevant and visual examples, report and/or stats (yes, we mean numbers) on how a project management software can help alleviate your company pains and increasing revenue. Once you have that in place, start pitching it!

If you address these 3 fears upfront and before they begin to grow it will help to keep you, your team, and your search focused on the right priorities. Remember the best time to address a fear is before it happens.
