Project Work Schedule

Each project has its own main work schedule. This is where standard hours of work for the project and where project specific non-working days and project specific non-standard work hours are set up.

This project work schedule can then be used to schedule tasks.

If no resource is assigned to a task, then the project work schedule is always used to schedule that task. Otherwise the work calendar setting for the resource is used to schedule the task (that could be to use the project work schedule or the user work schedule or a custom work schedule).

A project work schedule will inherit the settings from a default work schedule. It can then be edited for that specific project.
