So you have found your name listed as a project manager on projects that are not your responsibility. This usually happens because you created the project. Project Insight automatically adds the name of the person who creates the project as a PM, even if you select the intended project manager's name. You'll just both be PMs.

It's an easy fix.

At least one project manager must exist on the project. Therefore, select the correct Project Manager replacement and remove yourself as a resource.

A resource cannot be removed from a project if they are assigned to a task in the project, so it may be necessary to unassign yourself from tasks prior to removing yourself from the project. However, if you have already performed work on this project, make yourself a project resource and all the project manager "extras" will no longer apply to you.
